By accessing or using IvyReader (“Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

IvyReader provides a reading accountability platform including progress tracking, reader community access, accountability partner matching, and related features. The Service is offered on a subscription basis with a free tier.

3. Account Registration

You must create an account to access most features. You agree to provide accurate information and keep your account credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

4. Subscription Plans & Billing

IvyReader offers the following plans:

• Free ($0): Limited features, no payment required.
• Starter ($9.99/month): Unlimited book tracking, XP system, badges, Pomodoro timer, billed monthly or annually.
• Premium ($27/month): Full platform access including advanced analytics, AI recommendations, curated lists, and Reader Society, billed monthly or annually.
• Elite ($97/month): All Premium features plus accountability partner matching, weekly 1-on-1 check-ins, direct founder messaging, and priority support.

Subscriptions auto-renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. Annual plans are billed upfront with a discount applied.

5. 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee

All paid plans include a 30-day money-back guarantee. If you are not satisfied within the first 30 days of your first paid subscription, contact us at support@theivyreader.com for a full refund. Refunds are not available after 30 days or for subsequent billing periods.

6. Cancellation

You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain access to paid features until that date.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful purpose
• Harass, abuse, or harm other community members
• Share your account credentials with others
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or disrupt the Service
• Post spam, misinformation, or inappropriate content in the community

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of IvyReader — including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software — are the exclusive property of IvyReader and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee specific results (such as a specific number of books read) from using the Service.

10. Limitation of Liability

IvyReader shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, to the maximum extent permitted by law.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
